The wavelength calibration standard substance for the Starna HPLC detector in the UK is used for wavelength calibration of HPLC diode array detectors that can be placed in a 10mm optical path colorimetric cell at the sample detection position; A 10% v/v perchloric acid solution of erbium oxide (1% m/v) is sealed in a 10mm optical path far ultraviolet quartz colorimetric cell that is fused together. All Starna reference materials are traceable to NIST and have calibration certificates accredited by UKAS ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO Guide 34
